Duoing Wrath achievements
I’d been thinking about soloing some wrath heroic dungeon achievements, for no other reason than to see if they could be done. As it happens, Shigeko was looking to polish off a few he’d not done yet, as he’d only rolled his character late in wrath. So we set out together to do a few. Soloing heroic Old Stratholme
At work today, I was thinking about compiling a list of mounts to solo farm, and considered whether a speed run of Old Stratholme would be possible solo. And, seeing as how it’s on my list anyway, I went in to find out. Usual set up: feral tank spec and gear, ilvl about 350 or so. Soloing heroic Gundrak
Well Gundrak was a gaping hole in my heroics attempted list. So being the compulsive list-completer that I am, tonight I headed in to see how I’d go. Soloing heroic Halls of Stone
Time to try another wrath heroic on my list. So into Halls of Stone I go. It presented one major challenge I hadn’t anticipated: Brann’s event. I’ll go into that in more detail below. Another weekend heroic, this time Halls of Lightning. Slowly whittling away at my list.Usual set up: feral tank spec and gear, ilvl 346 or thereabouts. The clear took about 30 minutes, I avoided a fair bit of trash. Trash The trash in here was fairly easy, although a bit painful in the first few groups, what with disengaging and knocking back aplenty. Soloing heroic Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom
More free time on my plate, so back to soloing stuff! Working down my soloing list sequentially, which mean Old Kingdom was today’s project.Usual set up: feral tank spec and gear, ilvl 346 or thereabouts. Trash Trash was fairly trivial…. except for the Spell flingers. They do an attack that does 80% of your max health, so if you accidentally aggro two groups, you will probably die.
